Demand Planner | 4 days in Central London | £45,000-£55,000 + Benefits
I’m partnering with a fast-growing cosmetics scale-up that is building out its Supply Chain & Operations team in the UK and across Europe. They’re now looking for a talented Demand Planner to join their London HQ and play a pivotal role in driving growth.
In this role, you’ll own the demand forecasting process, working cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver accurate forecasts, optimise inventory, and ensure product availability across the UK & EU. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the demand planning function from the ground up and directly support the business’ expansion into new retailers and markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain accurate rolling demand forecasts across categories and channels
- Collaborate with Commercial & Marketing to factor in new launches and promotional activity
- Lead monthly demand & supply planning reviews, presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Maintain healthy inventory levels, avoiding stockouts and overstock
- Deliver regular reporting on forecast accuracy, demand vs. actuals, and inventory performance
- Support the implementation and optimisation of new demand planning tools and processes
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in demand planning within FMCG/consumer goods
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Clear communicator who can turn data into actionable insights
- Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
