Pod Talent are exclusively partnering with a Global FMCG business in Gloucestershire on an exciting new opportunity, we are currently looking for an EHS Manager to come on board. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 2 whilst driving a health & safety culture on site.

You will be working on a large site with over 300 employees so we are seeking a people oriented individual who enjoys stakeholder management and building relationships. This is an opportunity to work for a leading name in the FMCG Industry, they have a culture centred on creativity, ambition and growth so they are seeking a like-minded individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 1 EHS Advisor and 1 EHS Co-Ordinator, ensure that you are leading by example and driving a positive culture of Health & Safety on Site
  • Implement and execute Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives on site, lead EHS inspections.
  • Collect information required for reporting requirements, liaising with leadership teams on site about compliance and monitor company performance on H&S KPI's.
  • Lead accident investigations and collate information required for Regulatory Enforcement and Employer's Liability Claims Investigations
  • Design and deliver EHS training programmes for the wider business
  • Proactively build relationships with other teams in the business e.g. Manufacturing, Engineering ensuring to instill a positive Health & Safety message within these teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum level 4 NEBOSH/NCRQ Occupational Health and Safety
  • EHS experience within an Operational environment e.g. FMCG, Pharmaceutical or something transferrable
  • Ideally will have managerial experience but will look at people who can grow into this responsibility also.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS Legislation
  • Excellent relationship building skills, someone who enjoys dealing with different stakeholders
