We are excited to be working with a key client on an exciting greenfield European Logistics Management vacancy for a global manufacturing company in Amsterdam. The role will play a critical part in a new logistics function with a focus on process improvement for distribution and warehousing across multiple countries in Europe.

Working as a key part of the logistics team you will be regionally responsible for identifying improvement projects with the wider team and working collaboratively to increase OTIF at production and customer level.

The role:

  • Leading position in European logistics within a multinational business

  • Lead and manage process improvement agendas within logistics

  • Work cross functionally with sales, supply chain and sourcing to deliver targets

  • Identify and define new KPIs

  • Managing transport and warehousing capacity

  • Travel required to meet and develop suppliers and supplier relationships

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in European/global logistics within a large business

  • Strong stakeholder management from warehouse to board level

  • Clear and effective communication style

  • Working knowledge of road and land freight

  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement projects in logistics
