Head of Operational Delivery - Director Level (Transformation & Strategy)

Fast Growing & Disruptive Ecommerce Organisation

£100,000 - £110,000 + Excellent Bonus + Equity

Multiple sites - can be based in UK Nationwide

This company has seen huge growth over the last few years and has been lauded as one of the most exciting and progressive start-ups in Europe. After exceeding targets, they have already fast tracked their production & distribution facilities to cope with the increased demand.
They are now looking for an individual who can take their operation to the next level, embedding brand new propositions and driving best in class operation across people, process & technology. We are looking for individuals who have a wealth of experience in programme management, operational development, and rapid expansion in a tech focused, fast paced environment.

What will the role entail?

  • The primary role across the next 18 - 24 months is to drive operational excellence strategy & lead major change projects across multiple sites throughout the UK, enhancing customer proposition & driving innovative efficiencies - with similar projects expected in the next 3 years

  • Designing & implementing the roadmap for the warehouse operations, bringing the operations to the next level improving productivity, customer experience & tech capability.

  • Creating & leading a complex change programme to improve the proposition, operational capacity and utilising market leading technology to drive improvements

  • Working with the key stakeholders across the business to help align company goals and pushing new ideas for efficiency and cost reduction

  • Recruiting and developing a team of Operational Transformation Manager to run the extended projects

Key skills and experience required?

  • Previous experience leading a step change in warehouse operations & strategy, working in a high growth/change environment.

  • The ability to lead large scale change projects - looking at all aspects of supply chain operations, supply chain technology and logistics

  • The ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment where processes and procedures are being developed on a continued basis

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with C-Suite level

  • Hands on approach to leading projects and developing new processes

  • Excellent management skills with the ability to develop teams

  • A background in ecommerce would be highly advantageous

  • Degree or master's educated
