We are currently working with one of Britain's biggest retailers on a vacancy within their food supply chain, supporting them on a Lead Range & Display Planner role. We are looking for individuals with experience in similar positions, with exceptional analytical and stakeholder management skills, and a strong desire to progress into a leadership role.

In this role, you will be in charge of planning for the chilled category and leading a team of 4-5 display planners, supporting them on any day-to-day issues and driving the team to achieve the set goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create display principles for your category using insight from customers, competitors and suppliers.

  • Manage the critical path with all display planners in your team/category

  • Take lead of projects and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure key milestones are hit

  • Coach and upskills the team of 4-5 display planners

  • Work closely with the range planner to finalise the optimum range for the given space

About you:

We are looking for a driven individual with strong communication skills who is able to build lasting relationships and act with integrity while sharing and conveying the company's values every day. It is necessary that you have strong influencing skills and ability to successfully achieve stakeholder engagement and management across various levels. Due to the size of the organisation, it is necessary that the ideal candidate has strong organisational skills and understand the important of being and maintaining structure and organisation. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active and visionary mind, meeting current demand but would also able to look forward and plan ahead.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar roles within the Food/Retail/FMCG environment

  • Ability to drive agendas, relationships and team performance

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Leadership qualities and ability to coach others

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use Excel
