Manufacturing/Production Manager - High-Growth Sustainability Start-Up

I'm proud to be partnered with a revolutionary start-up, whose products are eradicating pollution & waste in the packaging sector, as they continue to build their manufacturing/production team. With a mission to rid the world of disposable plastics, this business designs and produces unique packaging solutions which use biodegradable materials, including bottles, sachets, and waterproofing tech. They like to do things themselves, so design, engineer and manufacture their products in-house at their base in London. They have some really exciting partnerships secured with some of the biggest brands in the food industry and are forecast to grow considerably in the next couple of years.

Due to their enviable growth to date, they're seeking a Manufacturing Manager to help them run their production site and their small team of production staff (3 heads). You will be responsible for:

  • Helping the business to gain BRC Food Safety Certification

  • Training staff and running production projects on bespoke machinery unique to this start-up

  • Growing production capacity and launching new pilots to meet increasing demand for this companies products

  • Implementing processes and safety policies for the production facility

The ideal applicant will come from a production background in the food industry, but any fast-moving manufacturing environment would translate well. This start-up operate with a flat structure, so the ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and being a natural collaborator will be really useful traits to have in order to thrive in this rapidly growing business.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business playing a critical role in fighting pollution, plastic waste and climate change. If you have experience within a manufacturing role, are passionate about the environment, and want to join a business filled with high-calibre and highly social individuals, apply now!
