I'm delighted to partner with this high-end online platform that finds, buys, & sells the world's most luxurious watches. They are very modern & exceptional in their approach with a great focus on authenticity, uniqueness & quality - looking to bring an Operations Manager to support their growth & run their operations end-to-end in UK office, including managing 3PL, forecasting, customer services, inventory management, supplier relationship, shipping, process improvement & building new team.
Do you come from luxury/fine art/high-end retail industry? Have great experience in customer services & have worked with low volume high-cost products? Bring excellent shipping/logistics experience & import knowledge? Have all that? Then do read on!
Day to day bits:
Responsible for day-to-day operations & office running, as well as defining new processes in UK HQ
Working very closely with suppliers & customers to ship the product correctly at a timely manner whilst overseeing the costs (DHL & other providers)
Source & bring new 3PL suppliers on board
Account management, working closely with sales, finance & procurement
Responsible for overall performance, managing & coaching the team, identifying faults & seeking solutions to improve processes
You must bring:
4-5+ years' experience in luxury goods/fashion/art/auctioneer industry
Logistics/shipping experience, managing 3PL (DHL & more), buyers, sellers, auction houses
Excellent customer services experience in low volume high-cost environment (focus on quality over quantity)
End-to-end operations experience across planning, logistics, admin etc
Tax implications & import experience in similar industry
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, switched-on & hands-on approach
