We are excited to be working with an exciting food start-up business based South-West London on an exciting opportunity to join their growing operations and supply chain team. I am looking for an experienced supply chain professional who is looking for the next step in their career - joining the team as an Operations Manager and taking ownership of the end-to-end supply chain operations whilst focusing on driving continuous improvements across manufacturing, procurement, planning and forecasting, and logistics and stock management.
About the role
Create demand forecasts
Ensure all raw materials and ingredients are available for production, and creating production plans to reflect the customer demands
Proactively manage suppliers and co-packers to ensure availability to satisfy customer demands
Effectively managing stock and inventory
Drive process improvements across operations
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and external stakeholders
A start-up / SME mind-set - able to react and adapt to environments with a high degree of change and pace
3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the food industry
Strong communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
