Production & Automation Projects Engineer - Multinational FMCG - London - £45,000-£55,000

A global food manufacturing giant seek a strong Projects Engineer to drive automation projects throughout their production function. As a business renowned for their innovative approach and their use of advanced technology, you will be well trained, supported and unleashed onto some of the most exciting projects in the food manufacturing sector.

The ideal applicant will have a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and have some prior experience working as a Projects Engineer in the food sector. This role is multisite and will involve occasional travel, giving you the opportunity to influence a wide range of senior stakeholders. Principally, your key relationships will be with Production, R&D and Supply Chain, but given the high-profile nature of the projects you'll be involved with, your sphere of influence will encompass the entire business.

Key responsibilities:

Harness emerging technologies to drive novel manufacturing projects
Manage strategy and delivery across different geographies and business units
Assess and disseminate key risk information to ensure regulatory compliance and evolve process and policy.

Essential background/skills required:

BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience within the food sector
Strong project management track record
