Production Planner

I am excited to be working with a global medical solutions manufacturer who are looking for a Supply/Production Planner to join their growing supply chain team in Deeside, Wales.

In this role, you will represent the business before external manufacturers around the world, provide detailed production and capacity plans, and become part of a truly diverse and dedicated supply chain team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Use SAP to issue purchase orders to global external manufacturers based on thorough analysis, including historical information, sales forecasts, and shelf life

• Provide production forecasts for manufacturers

• Manage production capacity based on suppliers and constraints

• Achieve the highest customer service and inventory targets

• Support new product development teams

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external teams

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 3+ years' experience in a supply/production planning or purchasing role in a fast-moving supply chain environment (food/pharma preferred)

• Strong skills in the purchasing, production planning, and manufacturing modules of SAP or similar ERP system

• Excellent Excel & analytical abilities

• Experience in communicating and presenting to global internal and external stakeholders
