Production Project Manager - High-Growth Sustainability/Environmental Start-Up

I'm proud to be partnered with a revolutionary start-up, whose products are eradicating pollution & waste in the packaging sector, as they continue to build their manufacturing/production team. With a mission to rid the world of disposable plastics, this business designs and produces unique packaging solutions which use biodegradable materials, including bottles, sachets, and waterproofing tech. They like to do things themselves, so design, engineer and manufacture their products in-house at their base in London. They have some really exciting partnerships secured with some of the biggest brands in the food industry and are forecast to grow considerably in the next couple of years.

As part of their enviable growth to date, they're seeking a manufacturing/production expert to help them scale their capability when it comes to launching their pipeline of exciting new products. You will be responsible for:

  • Building relationships with external partners to industrialise the products and get them to market

  • Managing launches and pilots into new markets

  • Working with in-house chemists, engineers, designers and commercial teams to deliver exceptional products

  • Implement innovative solutions to aid scale-up of manufacturing capability

  • Ensure new manufacturing partners meet rigorous technical and environmental standards

The ideal applicant will come from a paper/packaging background, but any fast-moving manufacturing environment would translate well (Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, Garments for example). This start-up operate with a flat structure, so the ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and being a natural collaborator will be really useful traits to have in order to thrive in this rapidly growing business.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business playing a critical role in fighting pollution, plastic waste and climate change. If you have experience within a manufacturing & production role, are passionate about the environment, and want to join a business filled with high-calibre and highly social individuals, apply now! Alternatively, you can email your CV to Alex at alex@pod-talent.com to schedule a confidential conversation.
