Role: Supply Chain Co-Ordinator / Analyst

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Our client is a pioneering biotechnology company based in the UK and Europe. Their mission is to alleviate and improve the lives of those suffering from chronic diseases through research and implementation of gene therapy.

About the role: talented and passionate professionals with a team spirit and drive for results are ideal for this role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and ordering materials needed for global contract manufacturing partners

  • Ensuring on-time delivery and quality performance targets are achieved

  • Acting as point of contact for suppliers and 3rd party manufacturers and warehousing

  • Implementing materials to support and control supply chain and inventory activity

  • Proactively liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacture requirements are met

  • Supporting the development and implementation of new ERP systems

Qualifications/experience: the chosen candidate will be well-prepared to land on their feet in this role. Requirements include:

  • Experience in and understanding of the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Knowledge of the industry standards for Good Manufacturing Practice and clinical supply

  • Strong IT skills

  • Good planning skills

  • Ideally experience in Netsuite, with working knowledge of purchasing & inventory modules

  • Ideally a history in working with contract manufacturing organizations

  • Ideally some exposure to the procurement process
