I am excited to be working with a thriving global cosmetics brand who are looking for a Supply Planning Manager to join their team based in Central London.

In this role you will be the key point of contact for all UK contract manufacturers and lead the supply/production planning and inventory management function, managing two direct reports.

Responsibilities

As the Supply Planning & Procurement Manager, you will….

  • Own relationships with 3rd party manufacturers, ensuring supply & production is consistently accurate and efficient

  • Sign off on supply plans and liaise directly with 3rd party manufacturers

  • Have responsibility for inventory management, ensuring safety stocks for 200 finished goods SKUs and minimising obsolete or excess for both finished goods and packaging components

  • Manage 2 Supply Planners in their day-to-day planning activities

  • Liaise closely with R&D, NPD, and marketing teams to ensure packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers are adhering to product changes and project timings

  • Develop company procurement strategy with regards to sourcing best prices for packaging and 3rd party manufacturers

Requirements

To step into this role, I am looking for…

  • 5+ years' experience in a supply chain planning role in skincare/cosmetics desirable (OR FMCG)

  • 2 years minimum of people management experience

  • Experience in NPD, inventory, PO & supplier/factory management

  • Strong knowledge and experience in ERP planning tools, ideally Oracle

  • A skilled negotiator and influencer, comfortable managing lots of internal and external relationships

  • A high level of numerical and analytical skills
