Day to day bits:

In your role as a Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering procurement quality projects across a variety of categories (indirect spend areas such as HR, IT, FM and Marketing). You should be able to thrive in an environment where you’ll work both independently and collaboratively with a fantastic team. You will:

  • Be a strong analytical thinker, focused on resolving business issues
  • Actively listen and engage with clients across the business
  • Assess clients' procurement opportunities by analysing their current set-ups and identifying improvement areas
  • Stay on top of project objectives and budgets by managing your own work and deliverables
  • Be accurate and robust in the work you do, identifying procurement opportunities and documenting them clearly

What you’ll bring:

  • You will be degree educated
  • Strong procurement knowledge across categories such as Technology, Professional Services, HR and Facilities Management
  • Previous experience in consultancy and procurement is ideal – however a strong procurement background in indirects will also work
  • You will be aware of technical issues and have an enthusiasm for problem resolution
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are no strangers to you
  • You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the team
  • The ability to resolve complex procurement challenges with a strong analytical mindset is one of your strongest attributes
