We are searching for a Head of Quality to join a leading healthcare distributor in the UK. This pivotal role will involve operating as the Responsible Person (RP) on a Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA) License, ensuring that operations consistently meet or exceed Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance. As the Head of Quality, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing quality standards. About the role:
- Oversee the management of Medicines licenses, ensuring full compliance with WDA(h) requirements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to ensure adherence to regulations for wholesaling and importing medicines, medical devices, and cosmetic products.
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including document control, change control, validation management, and CAPA programs#Lead internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement across all operations
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Prior experience in a similar position in the pharma or medical devices industries
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., MHRA, FDA, GDP, GMP)
- Proven track record of leading QA strategies and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a QMS within a global supply chain environment
- Ability to travel to other sites- West and North of London as required
