About the position
We are excited to be supporting a leading FMCG organization, is looking for an experienced Supply Planner for a permanent position. The business is undergoing a huge supply chain transformation, so it is a fantastic time to join their business! In this role, you will be responsible for optimal inventory management, demand forecasting and efficient supply planning to achieve customer needs and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining and improving supply plans based on historical sales data, market insights and input from different departments
- Managing the end-to-end supply planning process, aligning inventory levels with service level targets.
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations to align supply plans with commercial objectives.
- Monitoring and analyzing supply chain KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing risks or disruptions.
- Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) activities and present forecasts and supply plans to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of distribution centers and customers.
- Initiating continuous improvement projects to optimize planning processes and tools.
Job requirements
- Fluent in English, conversational Dutch minimum
- Demonstrable experience as a Supply Planner or in a similar supply chain role within the FMCG sector
- Experience in planning products with a short shelf life
- Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
