SAP S/4HANA Logistics Transformation Lead (12 Month FTC)
Location: Northern Europe/Hybrid
We’re leading a search on brand-new, impactful role created to reflect just how strategic Logistics and Supply Chain have become within a major European SAP S/4HANA programme. This role can be based anywhere in Northern Europe but the person must be comfortable with regular travel and existing right to work.
Sitting within the central programme team, this role acts as the single point of ownership and champion for Logistics, ensuring the voice of operations is represented, aligned, and translated into scalable system design and delivery.
The role is a 12-month FTC with the potential to extend, you must have the right to work in EU/EUROPE and be comfortable with regular travel.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic ownership of the Logistics agenda within a cross-functional S/4HANA programme; strategy, implementation and execution
- Operate as the bridge between logistics, supply chain operations, IT, and external functional consultants, ensuring alignment to business needs
- Lead and coordinate BPOs creating clarity across overlapping responsibilities
- Influence senior stakeholders across Europe, representing logistics in a highly visible transformation
- Support rollout, hypercare, and stabilisation across multiple countries and sites
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience leading logistics or supply chain workstreams within a S/4 Hana implementation across a multi country operations.
- Comfortable operating in strategic, matrix programme environments, influencing without direct authority
- Experience coordinating BPOs, GPOs, and external partners while maintaining clear ownership
- English essential; additional European languages an advantage
