Supply Chain Manager (Logistics)- Cambridge OR Liverpool with travel- Up to £50k
We are excited to be partnering with a well-established business within the global food commodities space. This is a growing B2B business, interacting with global raw materials and UK manufacturing customers to provide high-quality products.
We are looking for an experienced logistics supply chain manager to lead a small outbound supply chain function across 2 sites. This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with ownership across planning, customer service, logistics, and inventory management. You will play a critical role in balancing customer expectations, operational capability and continuous improvement within a complex international supply chain.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and control the supply chain across customer service, transport/ shipping and inventory management
- Work closely with the commercial teams to ensure customer needs can be met, aligning production plans with customer requirements
- Manage 3PL and distributor relationships, ensuring service levels are met
- Manage a team of 5 administrators, ensuring they are supported in their roles
About you:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a UK food manufacturing environment
- Experience managing teams, and being able to prioritise workload across various locations
- Prior experience working with 3rd party logistics partners
- Systems knowledge, Excel and ERP systems (JDE ideal)
