Role: Quality Manager

Salary: €80k-€90k+ package (dependent on experience)
We’re partnering with a leading international business to appoint a Quality Managerto lead quality strategy across a complex European supply chain network.
This is a newly created role sitting within the regional leadership team, responsible for shaping quality standards, driving compliance, and enhancing customer experience across third party logistics and customer supply chains. We are looking for a pragmatic business oriented operations and quality leader who can execute global quality strategy, familiar with QMS systems and able to navigate operational business change.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and lead the regional quality strategy and governance framework
- Oversee end-to end quality and compliance across 3PLs, hubs, and customer supply chains
- Own cost of quality, customer claims, and continuous improvement programmes
- Lead and develop a high-performing quality team across multiple disciplines
- Partner cross functionally with supply chain, commercial, and global quality teams to drive alignment and performance
Candidate profile:
- Strong experience in quality leadership within fresh food / perishable products- including dairy
- Proven track record in supply chain quality, ideally across international or multi-site environments
- Expertise in quality systems, compliance, audits, and food safety standards
- Experience managing customer claims, continuous improvement, and quality performance metric
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives
Key strengths:
- Strong understanding of fresh product handling, storage, and supply chain dynamics
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement across operational and commercial teams
This role would suit someone who has experience in Quality but is also interested in broader operational requirements.
It will not manage directly the technical specialists in the region, but influence through a matrix organisation and have a stronger focus on strategy and compliance across a relatively challenging and dynamic supply chain.
The role is based in Belgium, with travel between sites needed. Candidates will need to have current EU right to work to be considered.
