Warehouse Team Leaders (Inbound/ Outbound)- West London- Up to £34,000
Shift pattern: 4 days per week (Mon- Fri rota), 8am- 6pm
We are excited to be working a fast-growing international consumer brand with a strong presence across e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels. Operating from a highly automated and well-structured distribution centre, the business is experiencing continued year-on-year growth and is investing in its warehouse leadership team to support increasing operational volumes and maintain exceptional service standards across global markets.
We are looking for experienced Warehouse Team Leaders to lead either inbound quality operations or outbound fulfilment activities within a busy, KPI-driven distribution environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused equally on operational performance and people management, ensuring teams are engaged, developed and consistently delivering against safety, quality and productivity targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 10 warehouse associates, creating a positive, high-performing and accountable team culture
- Plan and deploy labour resources effectively to meet daily operational priorities, service levels and customer requirements
- Monitor and drive performance against KPIs relating to productivity, quality, accuracy, throughput and operational efficiency
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, compliance, stock integrity and operational excellence are maintained at all times
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, workflows and ways of working
- Work collaboratively with operational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver business objectives
What makes a successful candidate:
- Proven experience leading teams within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, fulfilment or distribution environment
- Experience working in a KPI-driven operation, using data and performance metrics to drive results and accountability
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships across all levels of the business
- A proactive, organised and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing operational demands and identify opportunities for process enhancement
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, quality standards and health & safety best practice
