Engineering Document Control Leader: $bn Tech Firm

This $bn start-up, famed for introducing innovative new technologies into global markets, are one of the fastest growing consumer electronics businesses in the world. Their consumer-centric approach and enviable growth to date mean they're investing heavily in their people throughout 2021. A crucial part of this investment is hiring a new Engineering Document Control Leader to sit within their Supply Chain & Engineering functions (based in Central London) and play a pivotal role in the journey from ideation to manufacture.

The business have recently begun to develop their manufacturing capability in the UK, so this is a great time to join a business that will only continue to experience strong, global growth. This role is ideal for somebody who is keen to put their own stamp on things, lead on establishing process and move into a leadership role within engineering compliance.

Engineering Document Control Leader - key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all product documentation, drawings & BOM, accountable for validation, organisation, accuracy and uploading to Arena PLM.

  • Ensure all suppliers have up to date information to facilitate pre-production and mass production builds for new and existing products

  • Continually review all engineering and supporting product documents, resolving discrepancies by working with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum accuracy.

Key experience/skills required:

  • Arena PLM experience is essential for this position

  • Demonstrable experience within a business that designs as well as manufacturers their own products highly desirable.

  • Strong communicator, able to manage global stakeholders & external partners

  • Proactive and independent, happy to be a future leader within the business

  • Passion to build your own team in future preferred.
