European Demand Planning Specialist - Global Consumer Goods Firm - Dusseldorf - €65,000-€75,000 + package

This global consumer goods business, known for their innovation and focus on quality, seek a strong demand planning professional to join their European demand planning team. Sitting within a small team responsible for planning across the Central European region, you will lead a number of exciting projects across a diverse product range to ensure fulfilment, new product launches & forecasting processes run smoothly.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong supply chain professional with at least 2 years' experience in demand planning, who is looking to step into a global business to further their career ambitions. You will be ambitious and keen to develop using their bespoke training & development programme to propel yourself into more senior positions quickly, and keen to make a real impact in a business designed to help you build new skills.

European Demand Planning Specialist, key responsibilities:

  • Use state of the art planning systems to create forecasting models

  • Communicate cross-functionally with manufacturing, product development and commercial functions to aid in the launching of new products into global markets

  • Work closely with sales & marketing teams to analyse the impact of promotional activity, disruption and consumer behaviour on demand across the product range

  • Play a key role in the design of future strategy and process across demand planning

Required skills & experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in demand planning, ideally within a FMCG business

  • Strong working experience with SAP (APO) and ERP systems

  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills

  • Collaborative approach to working

  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders in different functions/locations
