£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

I'm very excited to be working with a well-known, innovative & growing retailer that are looking for Global Carrier Manager focusing on revamping and developing their returns strategy across UK & EU.

Within the role, you will be given total ownership and autonomy to develop the logistics strategy for the returns. This is a broad role where you lead significant step change owning multiple workstreams across 3PL, Tenders, IT Development, Customer service and overall return Policy & Strategy with exposure to board level.

What you'll be doing;

  • Responsible for the end to end performance of return, shaping and developing the strategy as well as return delivery proposition
  • Complete a total review of return operation to create a best in class proposition with customer centric approach
  • Own the overall profitability for the handling of return product seeking out new innovative methods
  • Responsible for the 3PL relationship with returns provider, developing & improving processes & procedures
  • Review key trends & bottlenecks, identifying and undertaking opportunities for short terms & long term service and cost improvements
  • Oversee carrier tenders and develop the strategic direction of the logistics department
  • Working cross functionally to drive the transformation agenda utilising innovative techniques to drive significant value.

Ideally, we are looking for;

  • At least 3 years' experience in retail/B2C/D2C environment with strong project management skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to accurately monitor a range of KPIs & address any issues within the operation
  • Highly analytical with an ability to understand complex problem and convey these in a straight forward manner
  • Strong 3PL Relationship Management would be beneficial but not a necessity!
  • A highly collaborative individual with excellent communication & problem solving skills
  • Degree Educated
