I am extremely excited to be working with a very fast-paced, high-end leading UK food brand, that was found to bring the best and most authentic Italian flavours to your home. It is unique, vibrant, and of course is growing rapidly, so I am on a look out for an ambitious and hands-on Head of Supply Chain who likes a high-performance culture.

It is an end-to-end role that has been created to support their development stage, so you will get involved in supply & demand planning, customer supply chain, production and logistics, managing a total team of around 5 people. You will be a driven and strategic supply chain leader who loves a challenge, bringing value and making an impact to supply chain, whilst supporting and developing their current growth.

Day to day bits:

  • Ownership of customer and supplier relationship management (nationwide & internationally)

  • Management of supply, demand, and inventory planning, as well the system support/improvement

  • Supporting and improving sustainability strategies and impacting new product launches

  • Managing logistics & warehousing, overseeing transport charges

  • Creating plans for supply chain improvements, looking at changes & future developments

  • Working closely with the Finance Director, Commercial Director & MD

We are looking for:

  • An ambitious and improvement driven supply chain leader with experience in the Food FMCG (minimum 5 years management experience)

  • Strong demand & supply planning experience as well as experience in logistics and distribution management

  • Experience of importing from multiple overseas sites and supplying the UK multiples with food products under different temperature regimes

  • Customer centric and enjoy engaging with customers & suppliers (international supplier experience is ideal)

  • Someone who builds great relationships internally, has strong influencing skills and can work with key stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Confident problem-solver, quick thinker with an exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
