Procurement Manager- Indirects (HR/FM/Professional Services) - 12 Month FTC - Globally Renowned Professional Services Brand - London (2 days a week) - £55,000 - £60,000 base + Bonus

This world-famous brand is currently going through an exciting stage of their procurement journey. Having established strong stakeholder relationships across the key business areas, they now have access to higher levels of spend and more influence than ever before. Due to this, the team are in need of some additional help for a 12-month period and looking to hire strong procurement talent to add to their impressive team.

The role

  • You will work in a team of 6 procurement professionals helping in all areas of indirects spend - predominantly FM and HR/Professional Services (c.£100M)

  • You will be responsible for working with the key stakeholders in the business to help design and execute a sourcing strategy for all key areas of spend

  • You will help with complex competitive tenders and contract renewals

  • You will work with legacy suppliers to ensure that they are maintaining their high standards of delivery and addressing any areas for improvement

  • Manage multiple sourcing projects - juggling different steps of the sourcing life cycle but ensuring delivery for the business

  • Working with the EMEA procurement team and wider business to implement best in class procurement processes - using data and insights to expedite performance and growth

  • Work with different areas of the business to highlight procurement's potential and increase addressable spend

The Skills and Experience Required

  • The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision making processes and take ownership of highly complex supplier negotiations is key

  • Ideally an in-depth procurement knowledge of a variety of indirect categories (FM, HR, PS etc)

  • A track record of delivering savings across a variety of indirect services is a must

  • A proactive mindset and eager to learn but highly collaborative with the ability to involve key stakeholders at each part of the sourcing lifecycle

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate key numerical findings

  • Second language is essential as you will be working with key clients globally (French, Spanish, Italian, German).
