Pod Talent are super excited to partner up with a leading FMCG family business who are looking for a driven Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Surrey for an initial 12 months.
In this role you, will be responsible for assisting the Senior Logistics Co-ordinator with all shipping and logistics related activities within the company.
This is a great opportunity for a junior supply chain/logistics professional to accelerate their learning curve in fast-paced business and kick-start their career in operations.
About the role:
As a Logistics Coordinator you will…
Organise and track dispatched orders to customers and manage shipments from suppliers to the business, globally
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate export documentation and other administrative duties
Raise purchase orders and be responsible for order fulfilment
Report on KPIs and raise any trends and issues
Minimum 6-12 months of experience in a similar position within operations/logistics
Fluent in English; additional European language would be a plus (Spanish, French ideally)
Great analytical skills and Excel knowledge
Strong communication skills and organisational skills
Able to work independently as well as a part of a team
