Pod Talent are delighted to be once again working with one of our favourite partners, a business in the Food & Bev Industry that has grown from a very small UK based Start-Up to a Globally recognised brand in a short number of years. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join their site in West London.

In this role you will take charge of their highly performing Operations function who, in a nutshell, ensure that customers are receiving their orders on time at the highest quality. Reporting into the Director of Operations you will provide leadership to the Production, Engineering and Facilities/Utilities teams in a busy environment. This is an opportunity to join a business that has shown unprecedented growth in the past few years, they have a fantastic people-centric culture which focuses on openness and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide leadership to the Production, Engineering and Facilities/Utilities teams to ensure that all customers receive their orders right the first time. You will have 3 Direct reports whilst indirectly managing 100+ people.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation overseeing Production, Scheduling, Facilities Management and the Dispatch of products from the Site.
  • You will also focus on future of the business by designing and executing a long-term Manufacturing Strategy as well as supporting Strategic projects in other areas of the business e.g. Supply Chain.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams in the business e.g. Supply Chain, Distribution, Quality Assurance to ensure you are all aligned towards the same goals.
  • Ensure the site's high Health & Safety Standard is maintained.
  • Provide Training to new starters and development opportunities for existing workers.

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced working in a Manufacturing environment previously, preferably within Food & Bev but open to similar paced industries.
  • Strong Leadership background, you will have a proven track record of building and developing teams.
  • Excellent Communication skills, will have the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • You will be adaptable to an ever changing, ambiguous environment.
  • Numerically strong and data driven.
  • Growth Mindset.
