We are excited to be working with an award-winning, start-up food business on an exciting opportunity to join their growing operations and supply chain team. I am looking for an experienced supply chain professional who is looking for the next step in their career - joining their team as a Supply Chain Manager and lead a team of 3 direct reports - focusing on delivering process improvements in forecasting and stock management. Working with the wider business team, you will look to deliver new systems, and drive change and efficiencies.
About the role
Manage a team of 3 direct reports
Create and maintain demand forecasts
Create and manage production plans
Proactively manage suppliers and co-packers to ensure availability to satisfy customer demand
Effectively managing stock and inventory
Drive process improvements and support system implementations
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
A start-up / SME mind-set - able to react and adapt to environments with a high degree of change and pace
3+ years of experience in a similar role from a food background
Strong communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
