I'm excited to partner with this very innovative & growing vegan treats start-up that is on exciting journey to grow twice the size before the end of the year. This role is to support the company's significant ambitions to expand by developing and implementing best in class processes in their supply chain across UK & future selected territories. Role reports straight to the Managing Director in UK.

You will be a Supply Chain & Operations Manager leading, developing & inspiring the admin & operations team (2 direct reports right now) as well as internal & external stakeholders. Key agenda is to help the business flourish, whilst supporting an exciting sustainability journey of delicious vegan treats!

Day to day bits:

  • Building excellence in customer service with their B2B & B2C client base, through designing & implementing guidelines & processes from beginning to end.

  • To evaluate, develop & implement their forecasting, demand & supply planning processes ensuring they are always fit for purpose

  • Build relationships with their warehouse & logistics partners, creating & reporting on their performance, whilst ensuring plans are created/executed where needed to achieve OTIF consistently

  • Together with the Managing Director, Finance & Sales team, evaluate & determine the stock holding & liaise with their EU production team on ensuring this to minimise storage costs and/or wastage

  • To build, monitor & report on logistics & warehousing budgets

  • To be the lead for Operations for NPD projects, closely working with the sales team to successfully launch NPD in the UK market

You will bing:

  • 3-5+ years working in operations / supply chain roles in FMCG companies

  • Experience working in high-growth Start-up/SME is highly desirable

  • Advanced in Excel - excellency with numbers, analytical & highly organised approach

  • Proven project management skills with extensive end to end management of operational processes, tracked and evaluated to deliver against targets.

  • Proven leadership of people and of cross functional teams, together with outstanding stakeholder management skills

  • Self-starter attitude & being able to juggle a large workload with good judgement on prioritisation in a fast-paced environment

  • Resilient, resourceful, and tenacious and confident to make decisions that will drive the business forward & be passionate for food & sustainability
