Position: Supply Chain Manager (Demand, Supply and Inventory Management)

Sector: Private Sector - Workwear/Uniform Division

Location: UK Home Based with occasional travel to London, Worksop, various UK locations and Europe (London head office)

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + car + bonus + other attractive benefits

I am looking for an exceptional Supply Chain leader in Demand Planning & Inventory Management! You will be keen to create an impeccable value within this global business within the private sector, that is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and has an ambitious and high-performance culture that also is values driven and cares about their customers, employees and shareholders the most.

Pod Talent is working with one of the world's leading private employers and one of the most successful security companies globally, who are looking for Supply Chain professional to manage their corporate uniform division. You will be an experienced leader in Demand Planning, Forecasting and Inventory management, who is an extremely commercial self-starter, is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and can get down to it!

In addition to the above you must be very technical, having experience within complex supply chains and contract management. You will be an outstanding mentor, coach and manager with an excellent record in stakeholder management, supplier collaboration and negotiations.

The general day to day bits:

  • Managing demand plan, being responsible for accurate forecasting and inventory management

  • Create workwear's division' KPIs, processes, policies and business rules across UK & EU

  • Managing the workwear's spend (EU), setting targets for cost reductions, inventory management and annual budgets

  • Building & maintaining the relationships with all the stakeholders internally & externally, supplier engagement and negotiations

  • Managing the Supply & Demand, looking at the improvements, bringing new efficiencies, building new practices

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced professional in Demand & Supply Planning, as well as Inventory Management

  • Private Sector background (Retail, Hospitality - workwear/uniform experience is IDEAL)

  • Previous proven record of successful supplier negotiations/relationship building and excellent stakeholder management

  • Exceptionally strong commercial knowledge, natural leader and a self-starter

  • Technical and analytical professional with outstanding proficiency in Excel

  • Leadership & Management experience
