Pod Talent are pleased to be working with an electronics manufacturing company in North London who are looking for a Supply & Demand Planning Manager to join the team as they continue to grow and diversify.

In this role, you will have responsibility for overseeing supply, production, and inventory planning, and liaise closely with global manufacturing sites to maintain a steady 24-month production forecast by component. You will be involved the rolling 18-month product forecast by customer and play a leading role in the Global S&OP cycle.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced supply & demand planner to take it to the next level, gain more responsibility and visibility in a newly created role, and drive the continuous improvement of a world-renowned business.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as the Demand Planning Manager will include:

  • Short- and long-term inventory management & replenishment planning

  • Developing company planning tool to optimise statistical efficiency

  • Working with manufacturing facilities to ensure fluid production plan

  • Demand planning & forecasting activities associated with customers and products

  • High visibility in Global S&OP meetings

Requirements

The following experience will be necessary in order to ensure success in this role:

  • 3+ years' supply planning experience and understanding of how it impacts finance and operations

  • Experience of demand planning in a formal S&OP process

  • Knowledge of SAP/APO, Oracle Demand Planning or other recognised software

  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Ideally a background in a global manufacturing environment
