We are thrilled to be supporting a global medical devices business who are currently going through some very exciting changes and are looking for a Supply Production Planner to join their growing team based near Cheshire.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring forecast accuracy and smooth flow of products by successfully managing relationships between internal stakeholders and external manufacturers, globally. You will be responsible for producing accurate production and capacity plans, and supporting new product development and launches into the market.

About the role:

  • Place accurate orders to global external manufacturers based on thorough analysis of historical information, sales forecasts, and product shelf life.

  • Create and share production forecasts with manufacturers

  • Assess and manage capacities and capabilities of manufacturers

  • Achieve the highest customer service and inventory target levels.

  • Support the new product development teams on product launches

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Attend monthly operations planning meetings with global supply chain leaders.

About you:

  • 3+ years' experience in supply/production planning role(s), ideally within the pharmaceuticals/medical devices industries

  • Strong understanding of purchasing, production planning, and manufacturing modules of SAP or similar ERP system

  • Excellent Excel & analytical skills

  • Great relationship building skills and ability to communicate across various levels.

  • Self-starter with great desire to drive improvements and take initiative
