About the Role:
- Team Leadership: Lead, grow, and develop a team of 20+ talented product developers, engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work directly with the Chief Product Officer to optimise product development processes, maximise efficiency, minimise costs, and enhance product value.
- Supplier Management: Oversee collaborations with international suppliers to develop high-quality products within tight timeframes.
- Product Launches: Drive the successful launch of new products across various markets and countries.
- Industry Insights: Develop a deep understanding of the industry, production lines, materials, and suppliers to generate valuable insights.
- Innovative Thinking: Think outside the box to elevate the product portfolio.
About You:
- Extensive Experience: Over 10 years of experience in product development or engineering of physical products, ideally within a start-up or scale-up environment.
- Educational Background: A strong academic background in product development, project management, or engineering.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading multi-functional, high-performing teams.
- Passion for Innovation- experience with consumer durables would be super helpful
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
