I'm working exclusively with a globally recognised consumer goods brand, known for innovation and quality in the home and kitchen space. Operating in over 150 countries with a 30,000-strong global workforce, this business is a market leader in small domestic appliances, with a long-standing reputation for performance, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
They’re now hiring a Customer Operations / Sales Administration Manager to lead and develop a well-established team and help shape the future of the UK Sales Admin function. This is a high-impact role based at their UK HQ in Datchet, reporting into the Head of Supply Chain.
What you'll be doing as Customer Operations / Sales Administration Manager -
- Lead a team of three Sales Administrators, ensuring exceptional customer service, order accuracy, and smooth coordination with internal teams and retail partners
- Step into a function that’s ready for transformation. The structure, KPIs, and EDI systems are in place, but they’re looking for someone to take things to the next level
- Build strong customer relationships and proactively identify ways to improve service
- Become a true partner to the sales function, not just processing orders but shaping how the business works with customers
- Support the team through change. With a mix of experienced and newer team members, strong leadership will be key
- Dive into the data, spot trends, and use insights to improve performance
- Roll up your sleeves and lead by example, earning trust before introducing new ideas
- Visit key retail customers to deepen relationships and enhance service
What experience is required for the position of Customer Operations / Sales Administration Manager -
- Proven experience managing a transactional or customer service team
- A methodical, pragmatic operator who thrives in fast-paced environments
- Strong SAP skills and confidence working with data
- Someone collaborative, forward-thinking, and not afraid to challenge the status quo
- A relationship builder who can partner closely with internal teams
- Experience driving process improvements and working with EDI & retail portals
This is a great opportunity to own and modernise a core part of the business, not just keep the wheels turning. If you're ready to lead a team through positive change and make a real impact, I'd love to speak with you.
