Head of Retail Accounts DACH (m/f/x)
Location: Hybrid / Germany (2–3 days in office, North Rhine-Westphalia)
Salary: €85,000 – €100,000 + Company Car + Bonus

Following a comprehensive double-digit growth, commercial strategy review, and ongoing transformation, the business is placing increased strategic focus on Retail - a core segment with significant growth potential.
With an ambition to double the size of the business in the coming years, Retail has been identified as a critical growth driver. While retail partnerships already represent a substantial part of the business, this role will focus on developing and professionalising these key accounts; driving operational efficiency, building collaborative relationships, pricing alignment, and mutually beneficial optimisation initiatives across markets.
This is a hands on strategic role where you will build stronger, more structured collaborative partnerships with key retail groups, bringing greater coordination and governance across DACH at both a strategic and operational level.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen direct partnerships with major retail groups across DACH, acting as the senior commercial point of contact.
- Coordinate retail engagement across regions, aligning pricing structures, commercial discussions, and partnership models.
- Identify operational optimisation and cost-to-serve initiatives that create mutual value for both retailers and the business.
- Lead retailer-focused initiatives including digital pilots, strategic initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects.
What we are looking for:
- Strong commercial experience within retail-facing environments (FMCG, logistics, packaging, supply chain services, manufacturing).
- Proven track record managing strategic retail accounts and navigating complex, multi-country negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing accounts, pricing frameworks and contract governance.
- Growth mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Fluent in German and English (additional European languages advantageous)
- Comfortable operating in a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholder exposure.
