Goods-in Supervisor- Peterborough (6am-2pm)- Up to £40,000
We are very excited to be partnering with a well-known industrial manufacturing business who is undergoing huge transformational changes. They are looking for a goods-in supervisor, a brand new role to support the inbound warehouse team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warehouse leader, who is looking to continue building their leadership skills and use this opportunity to drive changes with WMS systems and process improvements.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Managing the goods-in shift for the warehouse (6am-2pm), ensuring health and safety policies are set and adhered, with good housekeeping practices
- Lead a team of 7 direct reports, ensuring KPIs are hit and ensuring a smooth movement of goods
- Support with WMS (Blue Yonder) system implementation, taking a proactive approach to process improvements
What we are looking for:
- Similar experience in a warehouse leadership role, within goods-in ideally
- Experience working with fast moving or industrial goods
- Self- motivated, able to work proactively and autonomously
- Full right to work in the UK
