Director, Strategic Planning & Network Design – Europe (m/f/x)
Location: North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany or Buckinghamshire, UK, Site-based (5 days per week)

Backed by substantial investment and ambitious growth plans, the business is entering its next phase of European expansion and is looking for a leader to shape how the network evolves at scale.
This is a highly strategic but deeply operational role, requiring someone who has built and scaled multi-country inhouse logistics networks within complex, high-volume environments such as eCommerce fulfilment, parcel, express or integrated logistics operations.
You will lead the strategic decisions that shape the future network, from warehouse and sortation investments through to transportation flows and last-mile connectivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead strategic network planning and strategy design across fulfilment centres, sortation hubs, transportation flows and last mile operations across Europe
- Develop scalable network infrastructure strategies, including site selection, facility connectivity and operational flow design
- Drive optimisation initiatives across cost, capacity, service and operational efficiency within a fast-scaling environment
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Transport and Leadership teams to support expansion plans and operational execution
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience within operationally intensive logistics environments such as eCommerce, parcel, express or integrated logistics networks
- Proven background in network planning, network model design, expansion and logistics infrastructue strategy across warehousing, transport and last mile
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with execution and implementation
- Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous
