I am currently partnering with a global leader within the aerospace/aviation market, who is looking for a dynamic individual to join their fast-growing team as a Sourcing Buyer in Essex.
You will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, evaluating and negotiating RFQs and customer contracts (BoMs), ensuring the timely procurement of materials and components.

In this role,
You will:
- Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, capability and delivery performance
- Lead RFQs, analyse quotations, and drive commercial negotiations to secure best value
- Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align sourcing strategies and requirements
- Monitor and manage supplier performance using KPIs, ensuring cost savings, efficiency and reliability
- Support new product introductions, cost reduction initiatives, and maintain accurate supplier data within systems
About you:
- 1+ years’ experience in buying/procurement (aerospace preferred, but open)
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and sourcing skills
- Systems-savvy, with experience using ERP/MRP and CRM platforms
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
